About Me
Hi, I'm Tamara Josten - Junior Test Automation Engineer and international conference speaker.
A few years ago, I would never have thought that I would be working in IT - let alone speaking at conferences.
Back then, I was working as an office manager - organized, structured, but inwardly looking for more.
My career change into the tech world came through a very special person: My life partner is a software tester himself - and it sparked my curiosity.
After attending the Agile Testing Days Open Air 2022, it was clear to me: I want to learn this. I want to test.
Since then, I've been building up my knowledge step by step: I started programming with Python and Java, got involved in test automation and am currently working on Behavior Driven Development (BDD) - and discovered how much I enjoy testing.
